Valuing our people is what makes us one global team, with our colleagues’ safety at the heart of our organization.How to contribute to our visionFor our Offshore Service Logistics (OSL) department, we are looking for an experienced Jack Up Engineer to support our jack up business and operations.OSL deliver first class solutions and products to our customers – like Jack Up /barge crane, Service Operation Vessel (SOV) and Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV)solutions. We define the right solution, support sales and tender the vessel or helicopter as well as being deeply involved in the operations of the assets.As a Jack Up Engineer, your main responsibility is to act as a specialist and validate, analyze and integrate vessels and maritime equipment, as well as support the safety level of the different operations.You will have a leading role to secure the most optimal vessel setup for the given operation which include full responsibility for deck layout, vessel suitability, lifting concepts but also a supporting role to secure the daily operation running in accordance to responsibilities,You will also be a Project Manager during mobilisation projects, jack up concept development programs and other maritime projects. Thereby, you will be the main driver for risk management, stakeholder management, deliverables, change note to signed agreement etc.You will also act as technical responsible during complex tenders of Jack up/barge/crane solutions and other equipment. You will also be part of the team that defines the future jack up layout for new Wind Turbine platforms. Thereby, you will work with many different interfaces and have full responsibility for all required technical analyses and benchmarking of the different offered solutions including technical schedules.What you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change to world to renewable energy.Specifically we are looking for a candidate who hasExperience and excellent competences with AutoCad, and 3D drawing programs.Experience from the jack up industry, preferably from jack up operations, jack up and maritime engineering, floating lift etc.Strong experience with jack up vessel layout, lifting operation, Ghost position, Sea fastening and major Wind turbine component tools and Equipment.Strong understanding of vessel regulatory requirements, vessel design, steel construction design and calculations, performance and knowledge of offshore wind projects, operations of, jack-up vessels.Experience and know-how as described above is the most important facet of this position, but it could be an advantage if you have a technical education such as Structural Engineer, Naval Architect, Mechanical Engineer, Technical Superintendent, Jack up lifting/vessel expert or similar.You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills.
