The Graduate journey
Our Graduate Programme consists of two-three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, be responsible for your own assignments, and be engaged in our day-to-day business decisions.
You’ll become part of Commercial Business Solutions in the area of Gas Portfolio & Market Trading, which will offer you a number of interesting rotation opportunities. The area spans over a wide range of different responsibilities, including, but not limited to, structuring complex solutions for gas, power, emissions, and green certificates, bringing our solutions to market, actively managing the energy exposure onboarded via the area’s products, and trading and risk management within gas, power, emissions, oil, and coal.
You’ll play an important role in:
defining long‐term data storage strategies using either data warehouses or data lakesensuring that all data solutions in the areas follow the key data architectural principlesmapping and contributing to the development of robust tools and applications that can deliver data insightsbuilding a coherent, robust, and scalable data architecture for the CBS area, including both data storage and IT tools and applications.
To succeed in this role, you:
a master’s degree in Applied Information Technology (AIT) or similar from before 1 September 2021 possess, or are quick to acquire, profound understanding of the energy markets, their underlying way of working, and their dynamics preferably have qualifications or specific experience with Power BI, SQL, Oracle and Python, in addition to an advanced level of MS Excel knowledge (VBA)have experience with data structuring, modelling, and analytics, either from student jobs or through formal educationpossess the ability to see things from a bigger perspective while also providing feedback and taking initiative on a micro‐levelvalue diversity and thrive working in an area that is spread across multiple locations across the world.
