Description
Our Renewables division is looking for two interns, one for our Offshore Wind department, Mechanical team and one for our Service Wind department.
The Renewables division develops and executes solutions that bring renewable energy to shore. We have dedicated focus on Front End Engineering Design (FEED) from the transition pieces on offshore wind turbines to the onshore substation and full EPCI projects of offshore substations. The scope of work usually contains all disciplines i.e. High/Medium voltage, Low voltage, Control and Mechanical.
The Mechanical team is located in Esbjerg and Ballerup and is mainly working with HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation and air conditioning), Diesel Generator and fuel systems, Cleaning systems, Layout and structural systems for offshore substations.
As an intern in our team, you will work together with a highly skilled engineering and construction team and assist the daily tasks, such as problem solving, design, project clarification, calculations, equipment specification etc. on EPC-, FEED or innovation projects. The tasks will mostly be from the mechanical team but can also be from other disciplines.
Besides project execution, we have focus on innovation, digitalization and general optimization which also could be topics for a bachelor project.
The Service Wind department is located in Esbjerg, Grimsby (UK) and Norddeich (DE) and holds service contracts for service & maintenance and projects for the offshore wind industry. The scope of work usually contains all disciplines, i.e. electrical, mechanical, structural etc.
In the Service Team, you will work with ongoing projects and service contracts, such as project clarification, preparation and execution. You will have the opportunities to work with our experienced project managers and coordinators on service/maintenance jobs as well as projects. You will help with developing and implementing of our newly introduced service & asset management system, which is the tool for handling scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
A Bachelor project can be made in co-operation with Semco Maritime and if relevant together with one of our clients. Depending on which department you will join, topics can be many, specific project topics, change management and new market area or maintenance optimization and more.
