Key Responsibilities
HUC Compression Lead (Offshore) in the TYRA Redevelopment Project is responsible in the execution of the Hook-up and Commissioning activities related to the BHGE compression packages delivered as part of the TEG process platforms (7 x Compressors and 2 x Turbo Expanders). You will be part of a team of 6 engineers reporting to HUC Rotating Packages Manager, while offshore coordinating the activities together with both the Hook-up and Commissioning team with a hierarchal link however to the offshore commissioning Site Leader (CSL).

As a HUC Compression Lead, you will be responsible for:
        • ensuring start-up and performance requirements are met in close corporation with the Compressor Onshore Lead.
        • managing BHGE personnel and other relevant vendor personnel offshore.
  • managing and coordinating the Hook-up and Commissioning team offshore allocated to his scope.

Overall, you have the responsibility to timely deliver and start-up the various BHGE Compressions and Turbo Expanders packages during the offshore campaign with support from the onshore and offshore organization.

Together with your team, HUC Compression Lead (Offshore) is responsible for delivering the following:

HSE Matters:
  • Lead by example, working toward an Incident Free environment, with a Project TRIR target of 1.00.
  • Ensure that all activities are executed following the highest level of attention and consideration to HSE, as TEPDK and TRP rules and standards as well as Total values and Golden Rules.
  • Ensure materials, spares etc. live up specification and are in fit for purpose condition before use.

Engineering Support & Management of:
  • Interface engineering with onshore support team.
  • Equipment start-up and performance.
  • Reporting of modifications related to BHGE packages to onshore support team.
  • Technical Queries and Punch Lists.
  • Execution Quality Control.

Spares/Special Tools/Repairs activities:
  • Manage Site Inventory and ordering of materials from shore.

Context and environment
The Tyra Redevelopment Project (TRP) is a Major offshore gas redevelopment project in the Danish North Sea. The project has completed its first phase with successful completion of hook-down and decommissioning works. The project is now into its development phase comprising both Brownfield and Greenfield offshore Hook-up and Commissioning activities. The greenfield scope of work consists in the installation of newly built facilities composed of:
  • 3 Wellhead & Riser Platforms TE.
  • 3 Wellhead & Riser Platforms TW.
  • 1 Central Process Platform topsides (TEG).
  • 1 Living Quarters Platform topsides (TEH).
  • New jackets for TEG & THE.
The overall HUC&W campaign will mobilize two accommodation Rigs, over a 24-month period with cumulated peak POB at 400. The startup of the 12 x BHGE packages part on TEG Central Process Platform (3 x Gas Turbo Generators, 2 x Turbo Expanders and 7 x gas Compressors) is a key success factor for the project to achieve first gas export.

Your background
  • Master’s degree in science / Mechanical / Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry with focus in.
    • Rotating Equipment (LM2500+ Dual Fuel DLE engine experience is a plus).
    • Offshore Hook-up and Commissioning.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry safe working practices.
  • Focus on HSE.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing), good communication skills, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
