We are looking for our next Head of SCADA & Grid Systems to join our Offshore Engineering business unit. The Offshore Engineering business unit consist of several departments with focus on both, design and development, supply chain management, documentation, value engineering and certification.
The department of SCADA & Grid systems deals mainly with Technical Sales support and project executing and is responsible for all SCADA & Grid system design, including grid studies. The department consists of several teams with expertise within different areas such as Project management, technical lead, IT Security, Grid engineering, SCADA engineering. The department consists of highly skilled and experienced employees located both in Denmark, Germany and US.

How to contribute to our vision

As our Head of SCADA and Grid Systems, you provide leadership and long-term strategic direction for the department. You will encourage and promote being best in class within SCADA & Grid Systems and steer the department to enhance the mission and vision in alignment with the overall engineering strategic plan. The role will have direct responsibility for the future direction in close alignment with the key stakeholders within Offshore Technology and Service Software solutions.

Your responsibilities will among others cover:

· Management of organization unit assigned

· Responsible for setting, communicating and executing strategy & initiatives to meet company goals

· Full life cycle engineering responsibility of all SCADA systems towards offshore sites, based on standard modules,

· Grid studies, according to contracts

· Focus on both, execution & sales projects

· Stakeholder management towards Technical Sales, Offshore Technology, Product Portfolio Management, Service Software Solution and Service Regions etc.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You hold a university degree within engineering combined with minimum 10 years of relevant leadership experience from the wind power industry or comparable. You have proven experience in managing many different stakeholders and interfaces, internally as well as externally and succeeding in setting and executing long term strategies.

As a person you are open minded, positive, proactive, motivating and self-determined. You take responsibility for your work; you value people and you possess strong strategic innovative orientation & strong decision making. You are familiar with working in an international environment and possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing. In addition, occasional travels to our global sites must be expected to be part of the role.
