Job Purpose:
To be Client`s coordinator for QA/QC & Risk related issues related to the Balder Future project FPSO activities.
To ensure quality in activities related to the refurbishment of the Jotun FPSO, verifying that quality requirements (both internal and external) are met. Carry out/ facilitate quality related activities such as project document reviews, follow-up of audits, inspection and test plans.
Ensure that uncertainties, risk and opportunities related to the FPSO part of the project scope are effectively identified, coordinated, controlled and monitored.
Main accountabilities:
To support the implementation of project quality objectives in the Jotun FPSO part of the Balder Future project. Provide quality assurance and quality control support to the FPSO project team.
Facilitate risk assessments and follow up risks and mitigating actions within the FPSO team.
Follow up FPSO quality activities against contractors.
Monitor all phases of the Contractors manufacturing and testing operations to ensure that these activities are performed in accordance with the relevant quality plans and other requirements as stated in the Contract.
Give support on QA/QC & Risk related issues at project level.
Main tasks:
• Alignment with QA Advisor - Balder Future Project
• Promote continuous improvement on quality awareness within the project
• Prepare and follow up the project quality plan (included the audit and verification programme)
• Perform and/or follow up internal and external audits
• Follow up and ensure close out of contractor quality issues
• Coordinate reporting of Non-conformities
• Implementation of inspection routines and maintenance of such routines internally
• Facilitate and contribute to risk identification and mitigating measures with regards to quality
• Assist in risk reporting
• Maintain project risk register according to risk management plan
• Periodic follow-up at site (Contractor office, fabrication site or vessel)
• Coordinate QC activities in accordance with the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP)
• Take part in reviews/assessments as required
Give support to the project manager and contribute in the project as appropriate

Requirements
Formal education:
MSC or BSc in relevant discipline
Training/Courses/Certificates:
• ISO9001:2015
• Quality management
Languages: Norwegian / English
Experience & competencies:
Required experience: 5-10 years
Required technical or professional skills:
• Experience with Quality Coordination of all phases (Engineering, Construction, Installation and Operation) of large offshore projects, preferably on the NCS.
• Knowledge of Norwegian legislation and international and NORSOK standards.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, auditing and inspection
• Familiar with ISO 9001 requirements
