Imagine a future where you will lead, inspire, and enable teams creating sustainable offshore foundation solutions for our global portfolio of projects
Join us in this role where youll lead a team of in-house foundation specialists in loads, geotechnical, and structural engineering. Youll also manage design projects and combine your technical knowledge with stakeholder requirements to create state-of-the-art foundation design with continuous focus on technology development and development of solutions supporting safe and efficient construction as well as operation and maintenance.
Welcome to Foundations Engineering and Fabrication Management
Youll be part of Engineering Management where you, together with your colleagues, will lead design teams and manage the technical scope of work for foundations for offshore wind farms, either in asset projects, operation projects, or product development.
Youll play an important role in:
leading design teams, managing projects, and combining stakeholder requirements to innovative technical solutions
facilitating cooperation with third-party certifying agencies to obtain statement of compliance on structural integrity
transferring the design and engineering package to suppliers, ensuring an efficient execution phase
reviewing suppliers documentation, such as shop drawings, specifications, and risk assessment method statements
clarifying technical queries in the construction phase with the design team.
To succeed in the role, you:
can set a clear agenda, lead across, recognise the contribution of others, and create followership
care about people and have emotional intelligence, are approachable and great to work with
take ownership, stay the course, handle pressure well, and work through resistance to get things done
have experience in project management as well as in offshore engineering preferably with both monopiles and jacket foundations for wind turbines or substations
have a bachelors or masters degree in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering.
