Would you like to take a lead role of a development team working with digital solutions that aims to improve safety, efficiency and security of maritime transportation and its infrastructure? Then we hope that you will join our development team at Kongsberg Norcontrol in Horten.
Our platform autonomously collects realtime sensor data from ship traffic and the surrounding environment to provide accurate information to the decision support systems used by the authorities. As part of R&D programs we are developing and testing new technologies like prediction of incidents through advanced analytics and machine learning, cloud platforms, advanced sensor fusion and new communication standards for ship shore communications, reporting and planning.
As a Software Developer at Kongsberg Norcontrol, you'll get to:

Day-to-day activities
• Management and development targeting Azure and .Net
• Advanced analytics for prediction
• Develop state of the art sensor fusion and decision support applications
• Design and develop applications in .net technologies
• Lead a development team through Agile SW development principles
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Cybernetics, Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics
• Genuinely interested in software development and experienced within the technologies mentioned above
• Good communication skills in English both written and oral
• You finish what you start
