New Energy Solutions (NES) Business Area shall deliver a safe and profitable renewable business. NES aims to do this with the support of Equinor’ s oil and gas competence, project delivery capabilities and ability to integrate technological solutions. NES consist of the following business clusters: North Sea (NOS), East Coast US (USE), Emerging markets (EMR), Renewables Solutions (RES), Power and Markets (POM), Business Development (BD)

Equinor is developing Empire Wind, one of New York’s first offshore wind energy projects. Success of Empire Wind and Equinor’s future US East Coast offshore wind projects depends on the development of a world-class offshore wind port in South Brooklyn. Equinor Wind US seeks to develop the port in close collaboration with the surrounding community and other stakeholders.Job Description• Help Equinor create and maintain relationships with members of local communities, community leaders, elected officials, and other stakeholders

• Maintain clear and current understanding of Equinor’s development plans in order to share them accurately

• Ensure stakeholders’ interactions with Equinor reflect our values: Open, Collaborative, Courageous, and Caring

• Serve as a source of information about Equinor’s work, answer or find answers to questions, including technical information

• Work internally in Equinor processes to inform and advise leaders

• Help insure Equinor’s work supports the principles of Environmental Justice and creates opportunities for disadvantaged communities

• Maintain outreach database and learn new technology to insure appropriate levels of engagement

• Help create and support public interaction plans as part of local, state, and federal permitting processes

• Create and deliver presentations to community groupsQualifications• 5-7 years experience

• Bachelors degree preferred

• Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications

• Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken

• Ability to understand large, complex projects

• Ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations

• Social media aptitude

• Familiarity with renewable energy and Environmental JusticePersonal Qualities• Ability to live by our safety and security expectations
