For our Offshore Business Unit, we are looking for a Commercial Technology Manager to join our Product Portfolio Management team. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a highly cross-functional and dynamic environment. The team are working closely together with many of our organization’s other departments such as Research and Development, Corporate Technology as well as our Service Business Unit.

How to contribute to our vision

As our new Commercial Technology Manager, you will have the commercial responsibility for technology development within the following areas: Cyber Security, new features & options along with new software solutions. Your detailed responsibilities will include:

New features & options including software solutions:

Drive early idea generation of new features & options in collaboration with technical team-members

Responsible for business value assessments/business cases of new features & options as basis for prioritization/budget allocation. You will base your assessments on information collected across the organization and interaction with key customers is to be expected.

Ensure budget & resource availability in collaboration with technical teams

Support early bidding as needed

Drive strategy in the area of features & options in collaboration with technical team-members

Cyber Security:

Responsible for business value assessments/business cases for cyber-security solutions for our Offshore Business Unit.

Drive strategy in collaboration in collaboration with Chief Offshore Products & Solutions Security Officer (also employed in technology management)

Establish allocation-methods of Cyber Security development costs across the Offshore Business Unit.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for you who hold a master’s degree, preferable within the fields of Economics, Business Administration, or

similar, together with approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience in a larger international corporation and a natural interest in innovation and technology.

You are self-driven and possess the ability to actively collect the correct information in order to drive decision making. You have a strong analytical and commercial understanding and are capable of presenting complex data in condensed and precise way towards different levels of the organization. Furthermore, you possess the ability to create trust when working with stakeholders across the organization and amongst customers.

You are target-oriented and able to prioritize accordingly. You possess outstanding interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity to effectively communicate and gain commitment to action amongst diverse teams. You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
