Join us in this role where you’ll support project development and implementation by being responsible for project process compliance and reporting to various internal compliance and financial functions as well as required project partners. You’ll also work with the team on project development and prepare meeting material. Together with the team, you’ll follow climate policy and regulation development as well as the carbon offset market. You’ll also work with ad hoc tasks as needed in the department.

You’ll be part of a team consisting of five full-time employees and two students with degrees in the natural sciences with different areas of expertise. We’re a diverse group and enjoy expanding our knowledge base and provide expert advice to our colleagues in the Group. Together, we work on developing the world’s best nature-based carbon credits, and we want to be part of the global policy development in this area. In this position you’ll learn from the best and have the opportunity to grow in your role.
You’ll play an important role in:
managing project process compliance and reporting to various internal compliance and financial functions
developing and managing carbon offset projects in Denmark and internationally
following EU and UN climate reporting and negotiations
following and developing the voluntary carbon market
supporting the bioenergy sustainability team in ad hoc tasks.
To succeed in the role, you:
have experience with or at least knowledge of the voluntary carbon market, especially in Europe
have experience with project reporting according to internal procedures and project requirements
have knowledge of and/or experience with the EU and UN climate reporting and negotiations
have experience with and/or knowledge of nature-based solutions, agriculture, and LULUCF
have a strong drive for and knowledge of nature-based solutions to address climate change.
