Offshore Direct Drive turbines are one of our most technically advanced products, with a widely installed fleet in North Europe and promising expansion plans to other countries inside and outside the continent.In our D6-D8 platform in Service Technology we are involved in the investigations and root cause analyses of complex site issues; in the development of technical solutions for improving the performance of our turbines and satisfaction of our customers; and in the provision of the needed lessons learnt and operative experience to our designers in the Offshore Technology department, in order to improve the performance of our next generation turbines. We are doing that using design tools, specifications and field data, and deploying solutions, reports, statements and calculations.As Chief Electrical Engineer for the platform in Service Technology, you will be the contact person for electrical technical topics within. You will have to coordinate the technical tasks for the electrical team inside the platform, with an active participation on many of them, providing support to the engineers. You will also be the main driver to facilitate the feedback from Service electrical cases to designers of new Offshore Direct Drive turbine models in Denmark.You will have to discuss the provided solutions and conclusions with our internal and external customers, participating in some relevant technical meetings.The position entails a high level of problem solving and decision making, empowerment and responsibility.Your desire to learn and experience new challenges will encourage you to share knowledge on global scale, providing technical engineering expertise to other team members, and ensure learnings are captured and addressed within the organization. You will have to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, establishing and developing a technical network internally and externally.If you would like to join an international team playing a key role in the design and validation of effective and responsive service solutions to a continuously evolving renewable market, we encourage you to apply to this open position.What you need to make a difference:Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.You are an engineer with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar, with at least 5 years of experience in electrical systems or developing electrical solutions.You should be dynamic, autonomous and proactive. You are good at relating to people and customer (internal or external) oriented. Structured and familiarized with problem solving tools (e.g. 8D methodology), but also with design mindset. Used to distribute / coordinate tasks within a team.Collaboration with international teams and working in different company cultures is a must in this position, which requires proven international experience and cross cultural understanding; and very good English skills, both written and spoken, in order to use them in reporting, engineering statements and meetings.Having experience within the Wind power business, with a good understanding of electrical components and systems of wind turbines, will be definitively to your advantage.In return of your commitment we offer you…Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come.
