Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for securing the best solutions for our Cable Protection Systems (CPS) contracts and the development of new products in this novel industry. You’ll be involved in all engineering phases related to cable protection systems for offshore wind farms across our portfolio.
Welcome to Array Cable Managers

You’ll be part of CPS Product Line where you, together with your colleagues, will implement sourcing strategies for the CPS across our portfolio, develop cost optimisation levers, and ensure a reliable technical solution is in place at the time of the contract signing. The Array Cable Managers department is involved in all offshore projects within our portfolio, and we offer a unique opportunity to work with other experienced engineers and project managers within the cable area.
You’ll play an important role in:
preparing technical requirements – in regards to supply and installation – for cable protection systems and managing structural cable design investigationssupporting the procurement team in evaluating the technical compliance of the various CPS suppliers in terms of design, testing, installability, and reliability of the cable systemoverseeing and reviewing the Ultimate Limit State (ULS) and Fatigue Limit State (FLS) analyses of the cable systemensuring that all interfaces towards other departments are being managed in accordance with technical best practiceleading the development of technical levers in collaboration with CPS suppliers in order to optimise costs and time schedules.
To succeed in the role, you:
have a master’s degree or PhD in mechanical engineering or similarhave extensive experience working for a protection system supplier, an O&G company, or a consultancy company within the cable, umbilicals, or flexible pipeline industryhave detailed knowledge of ULS/FLS analysis and ISO standards for polyurethane-based bend stiffeners/restrictorshave a strong background within both technical and commercial aspects related to cable protection systems.
