Maritime Transport & Agencies is the exclusive agent for Vanguard Logistics Services, one of the world’s leading neutral freight consolidation service providers offering global transport and logistic solutions, mainly focusing on LCL –Less than container load. Our team today consist of 25 employees in 7 countries with offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania. By combining a strong local representation together with a strong global network, we can always find a solution for our customer’s specific need.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/OUR OFFER
You will be a part of our customer service team and develop our customer service approach together with your team. In this role, you need to be flexible and enjoy combining customer care with administration tasks.
You will focus on building and developing both customer relations and Vanguard relations. Taking care of bookings, documentation, planning, making quotations and mailings to customers are daily tasks. Invoicing and establish/update customer records is also included in this role so you need to enjoy working with deadlines and set targets.
Other daily tasks would be system updates, filing of rate agreements, tender work, follow-ups and communication with customers and Vanguard via e-mail/phone and Teams.

The ideal candidate is a person who has strong commercial and customer interest.
A person with an outgoing personality who find it easy to build relationships and enjoys networking. The candidate is able to manage several responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude towards our customers, partners and Vanguard.
We are looking for a person with good communication skills and who knows how to cooperate. You are a fast learner with good computer and IT skills.
Previous experience in co-loading/forwarding is an advantage
REQUIRED SKILLS

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years documented experience from shipping/logistics industry in a similar role or other relevant experience from customer service.
Fluent in Finnish and English, both verbal and written. You on top of that speak Swedish it’s a bonus!
Well used to Microsoft office applications
