Within our Offshore Blade Technology department, we are currently looking for candidates responsible for material data management and material testing in our Blade Materials team.How to contribute to our vision
The Blade Materials team is responsible for innovation and development of new materials, as well as the development and maintenance of technical requirement specifications. We establish the engineering characteristics for composite laminates and adhesives creating the consolidation for material approvals and establishment of design values.Data management will be a central part of your role within the team. You will maintain and elaborate on the digital workflow currently established within the materials team. Additionally, development of our framework from initial test specification over specimen manufacturing, test execution and the final database consolidation will be among your responsibilities.Furthermore, you will together with our blade material experts help with executing material testing programs at both internal and external laboratories. This will include both practical and technical coordination with test centers.What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.We are looking for a candidate with a structured approach to tasks and can drive several assignments in collaboration with stakeholders both internal as well as external. Furthermore, the candidate should be comfortable working independently and possess a flair for IT.We are looking for candidates holding at least a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering – preferably mechanical engineering, materials science or similar. Newly graduates are encouraged to apply.Knowledge about the mechanics of materials is required together with some experience with material characterization in terms of coupon testing methodologies. Moreover, you need to be comfortable with handling and working within MATLAB.You should possess great communication skills combined with the ability to communicate your needs and results in a clear and convincing manner.Excellent English skills both orally and in writing are mandatory.
