As our new Assistant Project Manager for one of our projects, you will be faced with a wide variety of interesting tasks and responsibilities related to supporting the project manager. You will be joining our Oil & Gas division and will report to the Senior Manager for the department.
You will have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and take on different challenges within Semco Maritime.Tasks and responsibilities
Working in our project department, you will have a broad variety of tasks mainly related to assisting the project manager and the project team, but you will also get the opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Assisting the project manager with many different Ad-Hoc tasks and administrative work
Assisting with technical ad-hoc tasks in the team
Assisting in various task within the team; project planning, resource planning, budget & economy, reporting etc.
Sparring with your project manager
Management of specific sub projects within the project
Qualifications and skills
We expect that you hold a degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar. Experience from a similar position is an advantage but is by no means a requirement. Furthermore, you must be fluent in written and verbal English.

Have a proactive, analytical, and organized in your approach to your assignments
Are result-oriented and structured
Possess strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
Are service minded team player with a positive attitude
Have great interpersonal and communication skills
