Our Exciting Opportunity

We are Solution Area Enterprise Systems (SA ES) within Ericsson Group IT. Within SA ES, we run IT like a business which means focusing on the value we deliver, on top of costs we generate. Our unit is now establishing an API (Application Programming Interface) Transformation and Execution unit for Ericsson Group. In Ericsson context, this unit will spearhead easy, secure, digitized connection to enterprise data to enable Digital Ericsson.

We are looking for an API Transformation Manager to join our new team! In this strategic role and global capacity, you will drive business requirements for API with business and IT partners and out IT partners/ suppliers through the development lifecycle. You play a key role like a business consultant in the API ecosystem to support our partners to assess, prioritize and manage their demands within fast-moving environments
You will
Engage and co-ordinate with partners from both business & IT to:

Assess a business requirement if it is fit for API driven integration.Engage with business or other partners to articulate business value of an API requirement, and accordingly prioritize it Involve technical teams of application, API Enablement Center, Integration, API Development Factory to review, and agree on API pattern, development ownership, development planSteer business or other API Demand Owner to create API publishing documents, artifactsTrigger API Enablement Center, Integration team and other teams (as required) to drive the process to publish an API on portal, including catalog, after development
Conduct workshops to help define problem statements and value propositionsParticipate in Functional Requirements Gathering from demand governance perspectiveManage Architectures and solution frameworks as well as usage of modelling techniques Report to the Head of SSA Deploy Test & AO
To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor’s or Equivalent university degree7-10 years of work experience within ITFamiliar with API development from business impact, publisher and consumer application perspective.Familiar with Design Thinking, API first mindset and agile ways of working.Hands on experience in Business Analyst or Business Consultant role or ERP Functional Consultant role.IT Project Management experienceBasic understanding of SAP modules, Metadata, Master Data and Transactional dataUnderstanding of enterprise business processes e.g. PLM, CRM, ERP, SRM, FI, HR, SCMExperience in working with nearshore/offshore delivery team and with IT suppliers
