Are you an excellent people manager, who can coach and motivate your team? Do you have relevant technical experience and an Engineering degree? Do you have a passion for engineering and development of rotor blade manufacturing processes?
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…most importantly be leading and managing a team of tooling engineers and specialists across various blade manufacturing sites, as well as technical writers. You will be responsible for continuously improving and optimising tooling to deliver a stable and repeatable manufacturing process.
You will become part of Supply Chain Engineering, and will be reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Engineering, Rotor. It will be your responsibility to identify the requirements and develop tooling to fulfil these requirements, as well as to develop and deliver the business case for new or improved tooling.
You will also be responsible for:
Maintaining high safety standards and cooperate with the HSE department to report incidents and manage risks out of the process
Standardisation of current tooling across sites
Registration of new tools and relevant documentation into our EAM system (AX)
d-FMEA for new tooling
Identifying improvements in tooling (cost & tact)
Budget development and presentation of new tooling and tooling development
Identifying and managing training needs in the tooling engineering team and arranging for training to be realised
Managing the annual cycle of People Review, Motivation & Performance dialogues, and Salary Review
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has an appropriate engineering degree, preferably at Master’s level, or has at least 5 years of relevant experience from a similar position. You must be able to identify customers and their needs, and be an outstanding people manager with experience from a manufacturing environment. Consequently, you have the drive and personality to continuously motivate and coach your team towards agreed KPIs, and are a team player who enjoys working in line- and matrix-organisations. Attention to detail is essential, but as a manager, you must be able to step back and secure the overview, while the organisation delivers.
You must have strong development and improvement skills, and you must be able to manage and adjust your own behaviours to work effectively when considering new information, changing situations, or different environments. Lastly, a structured approach to complex tasks and a result-oriented attitude is highly valued as well.
We expect that you:
Have understanding of safety and quality processes and reporting
Understand Six-Sigma and Lean principles and activities
Are able to use Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Are a strong communicator in both English and Danish (written and oral)
