KONGSBERG IT work, in close cooperation with the business, actively to manage and develop IT services that enables a secure, efficient and agile business operation, while at the same time stimulate for business improvement and innovation. Today KONGSBERG IT have more than 250 employees, working on IT solutions and services in KONGSBERG’s more than 120 locations all over the world.
We are looking for a Team Manager for our IT Service Desk Team with 30 employees working from four different countries, organized in KONGSBERG IT - Global Sites and Support department.
Main responsibility for the IT Service Desk is to provide first line support for the 11 000 end users across KONGSBERG. The team handles all incoming calls- and tickets via our ITSM tool. The team is also responsible for handling Major IT incidents as well as responsibility for several ITIL processes.
Main Tasks
Personnel responsibility for the team in Norway (including HSE, competence development, employee appraisal review meetings etc.)Professional responsibility for the entire IT Service Desk TeamLead the budget process for the team, and be responsible for the team’s budgetResponsible for SLA/KPI reportsResource management of team resources in operation and projectsOptimal delivery of the team’s responsibilities according to given strategy by the business and ITDevelopment and documentation of routinesEnsure that all members of the team possess the required knowledge
Required Qualifications and Experience

Location: Horten or Kongsberg
The position requires Norwegian security clearance
Some travel must be expected
