You will join our Offshore Structures department As our new Structural Engineer, you will be part of a highly specialized service line in Ramboll Energy that counts more than 65 employees primarily located in Denmark, Middle East, Norway and India. Our service line has +40 years of experience in making new design, reassessment and structural health monitoring including true digital twins of offshore structures for the Wind and Oil & Gas business world-wide.You will be part of a result driven design environment focusing on delivering high quality projects in time, which we can, because we support and help each other and invest in developing innovative design techniques. You will be working closely together with very skilled structural engineers, which together with great variety in tasks give you a unique possibility for a steep learning curve. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: New design of offshore structures (jackets and monopiles) incl. input for 3D and 2D drafting Reassessment and lifetime extension of aging offshore platforms Advanced global analyses of the full structural system (ROSAP, SACS and/or SESAM) Design of structural details Preparation of installation and/or removal procedures incl. input to animation movies Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: Master’s degree in structural, naval or mechanical engineering Sound knowledge of structural steel design, static and dynamic engineering 0-10 years of working experience as a structural engineer within the offshore industry Possible experience in leading and supervising a minor structural project team Solid knowledge of Excel, MathCad, MATLAB and preferably ANSYS, Workbench and LS-DYNA Superior communication skills in Danish and English, both oral and written Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: a social, positive and extrovert personality, a proactive and result-driven nature capable of working both alone and in project teams, large degree of adaptability, cultural awareness and capability of building up strong work relationships, a confident communicator and capable of innovative thinking while combining your strong technical background with practical solutions.
