Description
Do you believe that our oceans are vital to our future? Are you curious about these unexplored depths, and want to create technology for exploring some of the most uninhabitable places on Earth? We believe that gathering information about the state and changing conditions of the oceans will improve our understanding and thereby our ability to improve how we and our maritime surroundings work together in the future.
We create, design and build autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and autonomous unmanned surface vessels (USVs) that can explore from the sea surface and down to 6000 meters below. Our vehicles are autonomous, and can operate alone for days at a time, gathering information about the seafloor, the water, and objects in the water. We create and integrate advanced sensors for information gathering, maritime navigation and communication. More information on our products can be found at www.unmanned-survey.com/ and www.kongsberg.com/maritime/products/marine-robotics/
Our operator station team is responsible for developing the operator interface used for planning, controlling, and monitoring missions with one or more AUVs and/or USVs. Our post mission analysis team is responsible for developing the applications and tools necessary for visualizing, analyzing, and assessing all the data that has been captured on a mission, as well as analyzing the mission behavior. We are strengthening both teams and are looking for both experienced developers and newly graduated developers.
