Dovre Group is pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Senior Engineer Cyber Security and Control Systems

Work Location: Skøyen

Start date: ASAP

Duration: One year

Description

• Participate in the development of our cyber security corporate management system

• Assess current cyber security barriers installed in our fleet and propose new barriers to mitigate new vulnerabilities

• Deliver professional advice, expertise, and strategic insight as needed for driving the cyber security defence effort for OT environments

• Follow-up 3party experts cooperating with client and assess available cyber security services in the market

• Understand cyber security attack scenarios and techniques, including emerging technologies in order to provide advanced strategies, mitigation techniques, and cyber security system design concepts.

• Participate in forming the scope of work and specifications for system that will act as cyber security technological barriers and follow-up interfaces to OT systems.

• Actively contribute to Instrumentation and Telecom discipline activities and provide input to develop and maintain company technical and engineering standards related to cyber security.

• Coordinate, plan and schedule cyber security activities to ensure a logical sequence and timely preparation, review and revision of all related documents, as well as check and/or approve deliverables from the discipline, and assure schedule and quality are attained

• Actively drive the development of relevant RFQ’s for equipment packages or solutions ,and prepare technical bid evaluations (input)

• Follow-up design development, construction and testing activities

• Review vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements

• Proactively support and cooperate with all engineering disciplines to achieve optimal design results, including relevant input and comments to other discipline deliveries

• Work closely with and actively support Supply Chain, Estimation, Planning and other project teams

• Review and approve deliverables from suppliers and contractors

• Lead technical clarifications towards clients, sub suppliers, class and yard

• Liaise with class, regulator and client for the submission of documents and close out of comments

• Support Technical Maintenance and Support team, Operation Managers and offshore Units as and when required, including visiting Units in operation as needed for technical support and troubleshooting

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in in Engineering

• Bachelor’s degree or long relevant experience may replace formal education

• Being Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), will be appreciated

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience from work related to cyber security within an industry dependent on an OT environment

• Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience within the shipping and offshore industry

• Strong communication skills and the ability to ask relevant questions and provide thorough explanations

• Ability to deliver in a high pressure, fast pace project environment

• Ability to deliver high quality work on time

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary/multinational environment

Knowledge

• Understand the various systems considered under the OT environment and their interaction and interfces

• Knowledge of cyber security systems technologic barriers and their integration in OT environments

• In dept knowledge of Integrated Control and safety systems and how cyber security shall be applied in the design of these systems and their interfaces

• In depth knowledge of cyber security relevant requirements of the classification societies and international rules and regulations

• Fluent in English (oral and written)

Other

• The position may require temporary assignments at project premises or on board units

• The position may require heavy travel and long working hours in peak periods
