Within the Service Business Unit you will be working in the Outsourced Labour Services Procurement Operations Department for Onshore & Offshore (known as Wind Farm Services) for the NE&ME region. To ensure the effective and optimal sourcing of the different services, for the commodities and vendors assigned, and required by the operating areas of the Services Regions in collaboration with the Regional Procurement Areas, mainly the Continental European Region.
These are your main functions:
Tendering processes management (RFQs, Negotiation and Awarding Proposals) for the different field services required by Operational areas.Promote cost reduction actions based on the targets set for required services.Create and execute procurement strategies to ensure the best market trends for the commodities included in the scope in terms of health and safety, performance, quality and cost.Collaborate with the Sales and Field Operations areas in the subcontracting scope required to perform the different services according to the specific requirements of each client, tendering process and specific country/area/region.Look for new potential subcontractors for the countries and services included in the scope. Market research.Propose and apply improvement proposals for the area management.Coordinate and support the regional Service Procurement teams, mainly Continental Europe.Collaborate with the Legal Department in negotiating contracts with suppliers, in coordination with other internal departments (HSEQ, Field Operations, Finance, etc.). Supplier documentation control.Collaborate on cross functional projects of processes improvement.Monitor the subcontractors of the assigned commodities and evaluate the satisfaction of external and internal users.Report to the Service Procurement management
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
You hold a Bachelor-degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or similar areas of Education or fully qualified member of CIPS or equivalent Procurement body.You have 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in procurement functions and/or in operational functions of on-field services / O&M business.Deep understanding and professional experience with Procurement Contracts for subcontracted services.Yo have strong verbal and written communication skills and are fluent in English (Spanish and other languages as French/German will be a plus)Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.Subcontractors market knowledge and experience in working across/with/for various functions, businesses and regions.Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI experience is welcomed.Skills with SAP and other Procurement Software (especially Ariba) will be considered as a plus.
