SCADA & OT Security Engineer for Offshore Substations

Areas of responsibility
You will join our technical SCADA team located in our Renewables business area, where we have constructed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe. Our Offshore Wind markets include Europe, Taiwan and the USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide.
You may choose between working from our head office in Esbjerg or from our Ballerup office in the greater Copenhagen area, whatever is the most convenient location for you.
The job will involve limited travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub-suppliers and to sites.
You will join a team of highly capable and motivated employees, working with delivering SCADA and Wind Power Plant solutions for our global construction projects together with your Engineering colleagues. You will be involved in the project from beginning to end, from the start-up phase with tender activities until the project is handed over to the end customer, but also occasional in FEED/concept studies. You will ensure that all OT Security related tasks are addressed in meeting our own and client quality standards, in time and within project contracts.
Your key roles and responsibilities will include:
Design and engineering of SCADA, Industrial Automation and Control Systems and Power Plant Network solutions in cooperation with internal network specialists.
Technical knowledge and a good understanding in electrical and/or software theory.
Apply comprehensive OT Security skills to provide security services to design, build and protect industrial control systems, applications, data, assets and people for Semco Maritime and our clients.
Securing technical requirements and interfaces management regarding OT Security, external as well as internal.
Comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of digital risk mitigation – seen in the broadest socio-economic perspective down into the most minute details of a sub-system or devices.
Comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of digital security – including the ability to do synthesis and apply this understanding into advanced designs
Comprehensive skills in presenting complex topics in various dimensions for a mixed audience of interests – mainly decision-makers, data scientists, system implementers etc.
Facilitate and participate in workshops and meetings to ensure that scope and technical solution for our EPC projects is according to contract and local requirements
Drive Semco concept development, optimization and standardization of OT security for NERC CIP & IEC62443.
Produce/improved guidelines and internal procedures about OT security for Semco Maritime.
Your profile
You have a relevant background with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and possible Professional Security certification (CISSP/CISM/GICSP) or similar. If you have experience within the renewables or related industries it is preferred, but not an ultimate requirement.
You have high standards and are eager for sharing your knowledge with the project team and department. Besides, you believe that success is only achieved through dedicated teamwork. We expect you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and possibly Danish, and you can work within a multi-cultural environment.
