POSITION SUMMARY:
Location : EMEA Remote
The SAP BASIS Administrator should be responsible for installation, administration, upgrade and support of all components of SAP landscapes and infrastructure.
Provide technical support to Cepheid's SAP Application Team on implementation and enhancements projects.
.The SAP BASIS Administrator is a technical architect role focusing on Cepheids global SAP landscape. The Architect should be a Solution Matter Expert and will be accountable for the design, implementation and health of the SAP landscapes. The Architect will provide oversight and leadership to an extended technical team including onsite and offshore third-party resources. The Architect is expected to be hands on for all design work and in the implementation of complex technical activities and issues. The Architect will ensure that the SAP systems (ECC, BW, Business Object, SAP PO, SAP Portal, Fiori, Solution Manager) and their peripheral systems (Like Vertex, Control M and other SaaS solutions) are properly monitored, and optimized to provide an uninterrupted and stable state. Expertise in solution designing for complex SAP architectures, infrastructure sizing and landscape optimization. Additionally, the Architect will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical road maps for SAP and supporting systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the SAP solution landscapes operate reliably and efficiently. This includes the maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery systems.Contribute in maintaining the cloud infrastructure and services for SAP Solutions and its peripherals.Provide regular support to SAP users in ECC, BW, Business Objects, PO, Portal, etc. and ensureAnalyze and troubleshoot any system issues or end user issues related to SAML based SSO, Job scheduling, monitoring, Interfaces, Workloads, etc.Administration of SAP interfaces connected directly, via middleware or a SAAS solution such as Control-M, Vertex, OneSource, SAC, Ariba, Celonis, Appdynamics etc.Completes implementation and enhancement project work with a focus to achieve key milestones.Ensure the adherence of standards and completes quality documentation for the SAP environments. Maintain audit and compliance requirements.Liaise with the functional SAP experts and business teams in order to assist with the ongoing support of SAP.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience (in years):
Bachelor's degree 5+ years of work experience in SAP implementation and Support. Graduate degree preferred.Experience of at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or upgrade project.
Knowledge and skills:
Implementation and production support experience of SAP solutions with latest releases of SAP ECC, BW, Business Objects, PI, Fiori, Portal, Solution manager systems, etc.Administration experience of SAP systems on Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems and HANA, DB2, Sybase and SQL databases.Have performed SAP Netweaver administration and technical core tasks including SAP installation, upgrade, Support packs and add-on update, System refresh, client copy, performance analysis, etc.Worked on integration and support of different SAP Bolton systems and SAAS solutions.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Certifications in SAP BASIS and HANA preferable.Experience working in regulated company with Software Quality requirements.Ba
