We are currently looking for a PWI Engineer for our PWI Engineering Department, a part of Supply Chain Engineering (SCE), to join our factory at Lindø, Munkebo, Denmark.

Responsibilities and tasks

The PWI Engineering department’s main responsibility is to support a stable production process and identify opportunities for Takt Time reduction by:

Maintaining high safety standards and working with the HSE department to report incidents and manage risks out of the process

Delivering and managing production supporting documents (Production Work Instructions (PWIs), Support FMEAs, Technical Reports, Risk Assessments, etc.)

Supporting documentation to improve and optimise the production process based on production output, cost reduction, and safety improvement targets

Securing that the production basis is well documented and translated for all processes

Being adaptable to rapid advancement processes

Working closely with the Quality & Kaizen Department on identification of critical issues, prioritising and improving projects

Being aware of non-conforming processes or products and implementing corrective actions

Applying Lean tools to the processes

Professional and personal qualifications

We are currently looking for an engineer for the team who will be responsible for our Production Work Instructions (PWIs), and who will mainly create and manage electrical work instructions.

Therefore, we are looking for candidates with an electrical background, preferably with a minimum of a Bachelor’s level graduation and at least 3 years of experience with production / process engineering from a manufacturing environment or OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).

We expect you to have:

The experience and ability to read, understand and handle electrical drawings

Working experience and knowledge on Power and control systems

Exposure to Wind-chill or Team-centre and hands-on experience in any 3D Illustration software

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel

The ability to design, run and evaluate trials and prepare the appropriate production documents

Exposure on usage of SharePoint and One-drive

To succeed in this position, you must be a team player and understand how to work in-line and matrix organisations. You have strong communication skills, and we expect you to speak and write English fluently. Knowing Danish language will be an additional credit.

Lastly, it is very important that you understand safety and quality processes and reporting.
