Everfuel is the new fuel company in Europe – providing green hydrogen for larger vehicle fleets like buses, trucks and taxies. Everfuel provides the missing link between renewable energy and green transportation as a partner, owner and operator of PtX plants, hydrogen distribution and hydrogen fueling stations.
About the job position
As an Operations Technician at Everfuel, you will be responsible for commissioning, operation and maintenance of hydrogen fueling stations, hydrogen trailers and electrolyzers all over Europe.
It will be your responsibility to ensure that the customers can fuel their vehicles when they need by making sure that all assets are available 24/7, which requires you to be available outside normal working hours.
The equipment that you will be responsible for are highly sophisticated equipment consisting of software, electronics, mechanical, process and cooling elements. Therefore, it is important that you are a fast learner as we do not expect to find candidates that are proficient in all areas.
As hydrogen is under high pressure and is an explosive gas it is extremely important that you have a good mindset for safety and never compromise that.
Reporting will be directly to the Operations Manager of Everfuel in Høgild south of Herning, Denmark. Your tasks will include:
Operation and maintenance of hydrogen fueling stations, hydrogen trailers and electrolyzers
Commissioning of equipment
Remote problem solving of equipment
Trouble shooting on equipment
Ensuring that all executed service actions are based on Everfuel safety standards and follow supplier specification
Work according to risk evaluations
Documenting potential failures and quality issues, which will include providing feedback to the responsible manager/engineer
Working alongside subcontractors and other technicians onsite, especially regarding safety topics
Support to colleagues in your areas of expertise
Suggest improvements and implement improvements
Help customers on site to operate the fueling equipment
Qualifications and mindset
You possess relevant educational background and experience in installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of complex machines or plants. You have a strong, technical orientated mindset, are curious, and can quickly understand complex technical systems to find potential technical failures and quality issues.
You are structured, consistent and clear with documentation, and follow work procedures in a safe and efficient manner. You can work both independently and in teams and are proficient in both written and spoken English. As a person you are dedicated to your job and you want to make a difference to the world by working in a company that wants to make green transportation possible.
Requirements
Relevant technical education as an electrician, mechanic, various technicians or has a few years experience as a marine engineer
Good knowledge of mechatronic systems
Good communication skills with customers and also internally in Everfuel
Experienced in both independent and teamwork, plus high flexibility and ability to work 24/7 on-call
Experience working within established service procedures, instructions, bill of materials and norms
Good knowledge in the remote operation and monitoring of complex systems
Maintains an organized and clean work area in the workshop and onsite
Experience with various IT tools
Willing to travel approx. 60 – 100 days a year
Advantages
Experience in working with flammable gases under high pressures
General understanding of work safety procedures and experience in risk evaluation
Experience with service work in the oil and gas industry, maritime industry or alike, where there are high demands on safety
There are several possibilities in relation to deciding your place of work as this will depend on your private address. If you are living around Copenhagen-area, you might be working from home and taking care of the equipment in Copenhagen-area. If you are living in the vicinity of Fredericia, Middelfart or Kolding you might be working from the upcoming office in Fredericia where Everfuel is building a hydrogen factory. If you are living in Herning you might be working from the office in Høgild near Herning.

You might be looking for a career as a Technical Specialist, Senior Field Engineer, Operations Lead or a manager role within Operations.
