As Manager for Engineering Studies, you will take the lead on developing the Engineering Studies business area. This includes full business responsibility for sales, development and execution of engineering studies projects. You will work in our expanding offshore wind business area with markets located across the globe.

Key responsibilities and tasks

Developing/implementing the Engineering Studies business plan.

Follow market developments and suggest new potential business areas that will lead to growth.

Approaching clients globally, acting as front-end sales and working to extend our current client base.

Leading commercial and technical negotiations.

Being the focal point for both the project team and your customer, thereby ensuring effective project execution.

Nurturing and developing partnerships globally with other engineering firms.

With reference to the Engineering & Technology Director, you will be an integral part of the business unit’s management team. You will be expected to form strong working relationships with other existing teams e.g. in sales, tender and project management. The resources you require to complete your tasks will be made available to you through this close collaboration.

Your profile

You have relevant experience from the offshore wind industry, with a strong network of offshore wind developers. You have a Bachelor or a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and you thrive in establishing relationships with customers, partners and your colleagues. You are analytical and flexible in your solution-oriented approach.

Our team is located in Esbjerg and Ballerup in Denmark. Other important internal collaborative partners and our clients are located in many locations around the globe. You should therefore expect to enjoy some 40-50 days of travelling per year, depending on your preferred working location
