Macro Offshore is a fully integrated owner and operator of accommodation vessels with a fleet of two harsh-environment deep-water accommodation jack-up rigs, Haven and Crossway Eagle. Crossway Eagle is currently on contract at Tyra West and Dan F, and is contracted until 31.12.2022 with further options. Haven is currently being contracted
for Total to start operations in Denmark Q3 2021. Duration of Haven contract is firm for 20 months and further options.

Job Description
Overall responsible for the accommodation units Crossway Eagle and Haven, with focus on high HSE performance and first class delivery to our customers, including responsibility to ensure safe operation and that our contractual obligations to our customer are adhered to based on sound oilfield, economic and business principles.
Ensuring the units adhere to MOM business management system.
Follow-up of project execution and operations according to company objectives and policies.
Plan, direct and coordinate all operations of vessels and offshore units working for the company.
Ensure that the operational, technical and project business is managed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
Monitor and drive the performance of the accommodation units, including financial performance, HSE goals and programs, equipment supply chain and the competencies of our employees working offshore. You will conduct regular offshore visits and ensure that our units are in compliance with applicable Coastal state, Class and Flag State requirements at all times.
Staff responsibility and a key component in being successful in the role to build high performing teams both on- and offshore, and make sure that your teams always are engaged and committed to execute their tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Analyse company operations to evaluate operational and commercial performance and propose areas of potential improvement.
Develop, implement, maintain and improve the technical and commercial business management system in line with applicable regulatory, industry and ISO standards.
Implement and improve standards for the company’s HSEQ policy and other policies.
Assist the MD in marketing and sales, as well as negotiations of contracts. Be a member of the management team.
Implement the company Emergency Response Plan and ensure adequate training of the operations’ Emergency Response Teams.
Facilitate 3rd party verification and audits.
Manage contract modifications and plan, negotiate, and follow-up modifications until final documentation and certificates are completed.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of relevant experience. Preferably from Jack Up rigs, in a similar position.
MSc or BSc in System engineering or Marine Technology. Higher technical graduates will be considered based on relevant experience.
Experience and knowledge about all marine systems (hull, machinery, electric and fluid systems), including standards and regulations related to such systems.
Being able to work independently as well as in a team, with an innovative mind and being proactive for new technology and work processes.
Leadership skills.
Proficient in business administration and commercial activities, and conversant in Safety, Quality and Environmental Management.
Open, honest, flexible and strong communicator, capable of challenging the company's mindset.
Fluent in the Norwegian and English language, excellent communication skills, and ability to interface both offshore and onshore organisations.
