Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
… plan, direct and continually improve manufacturing processes through KAIZEN initiatives in our Nacelle assembly factory at Lindø. You will drive the implementation of Lean and KAIZEN fundamental competencies in order to continually improve performance in safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale. To successfully accomplish corporate goals and objectives, you will develop and implement systems, procedures and projects.
You will also:
Clearly communicate the KAIZEN and Lean philosophy, vision and expectations
Find bottlenecks through analysis and initiate improvement activities to balance and improve the production line
Facilitate continuous improvement activities via KAIZEN, DMAIC projects and through daily interaction with site employees
Secure that KAIZEN plans from all stakeholders (HSE, quality, warehouse and production) are gathered, analysed and implemented
Apply DMAIC for KPIs in different departments
Facilitate the planning and implementation of workplace flow and layout according to Lean concepts
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has been a Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer or similar with KAIZEN/Lean manufacturing experience and educational background. As a person, you are structured and systematic, and you can work independently and take responsibility. It is important that you can adapt to changes quickly. You are a team player able to spot possibilities and improvements
We expect that you:
Have a fundamental understanding of the 7 wastes and how to eliminate them as well as pull systems and various related Kanban methods
Have experience and skills for data analysis
Have experience with DMAIC methodology
Have experience within systematic problem solving
Can identify manufacturing risks in future designs
Have good English skills both orally and in writing
