Your position
As our Intern at Semco Maritime, you will be able to take on a lot of responsibility if that is what you wish to do. We have a high ambition level for our Interns, and you will experience this by having a lot of opportunities for growth, and a team of dedicated and highly skilled colleagues helping you learn everything you need. The tasks will mostly be from the mechanical team but can also be from other disciplines.
Your tasks & responsibilities
At Semco Maritime you will be joining our engineering and construction team and working on Diesel Generator and fuel systems, HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation and air conditioning) for offshore substations as well as assisting the daily tasks on EPC projects to obtain all the diversified knowledge and skills you need on your career path.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Completing variety of problem-solving tasks on EPC projects
- Specificizing equipment
- Making calculations
- Designing new constructions
- Implementing innovative ideas
Your profile & qualifications
As a person we imagine that you are ambitious and result oriented. You are someone who have a analytical mindset to find solutions for complex problems and have good communications skills towards different stakeholders externally and internally.
Furthermore, you have a huge interest in learning new and challenging things with a data-centric manner.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- Have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marine, Energy or Mechanical Engineering
- Interest within mechanical systems as diesel generator systems, fuel systems and ventilation and cooling systems
- Focus on digitalization and innovation
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Great communication skills
