With more than a hundred years of experience, Aibel is a leading supplier within the oil, gas and offshore wind industries. We offer our customers optimal and innovative solutions within engineering, construction, modifications and maintenance throughout the project's life cycle.
Due to a growing market within renewable energy / offshore wind, Aibel see the need to further strengthen and increase manpower in the offshore wind department in Haugesund. This department is part of the business unit Field Development and Offshore Wind and counts today close to 50 engineers in Haugesund. We need to increase the staff in several disciplines due to many ongoing and potential future projects.
We are now looking for a newly graduated automation engineer who can contribute in Aibel’s exciting future within renewable energy / offshore wind.
Responsibility and tasks:
As a graduate engineer in the offshore wind department, you will be involved in our offshore wind projects. We will use your skills and talent from the start-up of your career. The right candidate will have a steep learning curve and gradually develop a wide understanding of our enterprise in a multicultural team environment.
The main responsibility is automation design and solutions for process, electrical and utility systems for offshore wind HVDC platforms
Education and qualifications:
Master or bachelor degree (awarded between 2019 - 2021)
No more than 2-3 years of relevant fulltime work experience
Good communications skills in Norwegian (preferable) and English, both orally and in writing
