Join us at one of our virtual career fairs to learn more about Equinor and the corporate graduate programme or read about the various graduate disciplines here.Job DescriptionEquinor's New Energy Solutions (NES) business area reflects our long term goal to complement our oil and gas portfolio with profitable renewable energy. We are on track to become a major player in the global offshore wind business. In parallel, our ambition is to become a market-driven power producer from multiple renewable energy sources (solar, onshore wind and energy storage) with a significant position and capabilities in 3-5 power markets by 2030. We also have a growing renewable portfolio within research, development and technology implementation, venture capital investment and strategy and business analytics. A wide variety of different roles and disciplines. Some examples are:

• Research and technology development for further improvement of offshore wind, solar, energy storage and energy systems.

• Accessing and developing renewable energy projects until financial investment decision:

Commercial analysis and power market insight with focus on utility scale onshore renewable energy such as solar and onshore wind, together with energy storage and power trading.
Perform analysis to develop the business case for new investment projects, and participate into evaluating new business development opportunities.
Support due diligence and execution of business development projects.
Engage and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, who are often based in several locations and markets.

• Provide commercial support to origination and project development projects within renewables:

Support and co-ordinate grid connection agreements, lease agreements and offtake contracts
Provide business case updates and value improvement initiatives within the project.Qualifications• Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within:
Structural engineering,
Business,
Hydrodynamic,
Cybernetics,
Project Management,
Business (Finance, Economics and Business Administration),
Business combined with Engineering degree is also desirable

• No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience

• Fluent in English and preferably a second working language

• International work and/or study experience preferred
