Job purpose: To support and be backup for FPSO Health, Safety and Environmental lead
To support in plan, establish, verify, maintain and follow up HSE requirements, specifications, design and supply including emergency preparedness, philosophies, procedures and equipment design.
Support development and implementation off HSE activities in the project.
Main accountabilities: Support in coordination and follow-up HSE activities and issues related to the Jotun A FPSO.
Support the FPSO site team(s) in registering, reporting and follow up undesired events, including identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and awareness campaigns.
Liaison with project HSSEQ team
Main tasks
Plan and coordinate HSE related objectives and strategies for Jotun A FPSO modification/construction and completion activities and follow-up the implementation.Coordinate within the Jotun A FPSO team and towards the contractors HSE organisation on HSE issues, and administrate these. Coordinate and participate in risk assessments, HAZIDs/HAZOPs etc. Maintain and follow-up FPSO HSE Risk Register.Prepare input to project HSE requirements/performance requirements applicable in the project and ensure that these requirements are properly implemented.Prepare reports on HSE performance as required by project routines. Participate in cross discipline HSE initiatives. Participate in audits covering SHE discipline.Follow up contractor focus, resources, competency and priorities with regards to disciplineGive support in development of relevant project documentationGive professional support and assistance to project personnel. Give support to the HSSEQ project Manager contribute in the project(s) as appropriate.
Qualifications Required
Formal education: MSC or BSc in relevant discipline.Required experience: 5-10 yearsRequired technical or professional skills Experience with HSE from Engineering, Construction, Installation and Operation of offshore facilities internationally or preferably on the NCS.In depth knowledge in Norwegian legislation and international and NORSOK standards.In-depth knowledge of risk analysis methods and HAZID/HAZOP techniques. Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience within HSE disciplinesLanguage type: Norwegian & English
