Description
We are working alongside a major Offshore Wind Developer. They have an immediate requirement for an Electrical HV Supervisor to work on a 1 year contract, supplying consultancy services to a Wind Farm construction project.
This role will be based in Sweden. Local candidates are preferred or those who can work via a Swedish Ltd Company
Main responsibilities:
Work within the project team to ensure the success of the project; Liaise with
other project team members and support functions;
Evaluate and suggest cable route planning taking QA/QC and environmental conditions into consideration and being constructed according to the technical requirements of the EPC contract
Validation of cable trenching and foundation interface, bedding, validate that MV cables and fibre optic cables are installed against a method statement (laying methodology, the separation between cables, junction box installation)Validation that testing of cables is performed on cables and a test certificate is provided
Participate in site construction meetings that contain cable installation scope of work
Ensure good interface with cable contractor and EPC Contractor to obtain solid communication, dialogue and discuss cable installation solution proposals to maintain progress according to program and mitigate upcoming technical challengesEnsure that the installation is conducted using Electricity Industry safety rules;Undertake adequate safety walks on site in order to ensure that the work is being carried out in a safe mannerResponsible for the co-ordination of all interfaces between the WTG, MV cables and grid;Provide documentation for the defects register and defects notification to the EPC Contractor
Ongoing monitoring of the contractors’ design and performance to ensure that design are progressing in a manner to satisfactorily meet the requirements of the project;Review of contractors’ final documentation to ensure that the documentation meets the contractual requirements;

Excellent judgement and decision-making skillsEffective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in EnglishExcellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilityAble to liaise with other departments/clients where necessaryElectrical experience within wind energy projectsExperience of dealing with external partners and local authoritiesElectrical Engineering Qualification
