Tasks & responsibilities: You will…

…ensure that the technical aspects of the project are delivered in accordance with the required safety and quality standards, and thus will be working closely with the project team to ensure smooth running of the project.

As the Deputy Technical Project Manager, you will agree on which activities of the projects you should be involved in with the Technical Project Manager or the Project Manager, as your activities are aimed at supporting them with effectively managing the technical aspects of the projects. This includes the day-to-day communication and alignment with stakeholders.

You will assist and support in terms of ensuring understanding of the technical scope with the project team, coordinating technical deliverables, and providing support for any technical issues that might arise throughout all stages of the project.
You will also be responsible for:

Supporting and assisting the Technical Project Manager in the technical aspects of executing the project throughout the entire project life cycle

Acting as the technical interface between internal and external key stakeholders

Proactively improving the project by avoiding, minimising or eliminating technical interface issues in advance

Identifying and managing technical risks and dependencies

Reporting progress on technical issues to key stakeholders

Acting on behalf of the Technical Project Manager, the Project Manager or the Special Projects Manager during internal meetings when Managers are unable to attend

Skills & experience: Our new colleague…

…has a relevant education, for instance within the field of Engineering or Project Management, and has 2-3 years of experience with large scale projects. You must have understanding and awareness of turbine products/components, and be technically savvy. In addition, you must be competent in Risk Management, and possess excellent project management skills.

As a person, you must thrive in a position with a large amount of cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders, as well as performing a support function. As a consequence, you must be an excellent communicator, a team player, and pay attention to detail. In addition, you must be adaptable and flexible, as you will be working in an international and dynamic organisation.

Possess general HSE knowledge

Are able to work systematically, organised, analytically and effectively
