We are looking for a OT Cyber Security Specialist to work within our Business Area Wind, Offshore, Engineering.
The Engineering department is the technical know-how centre within Business Area Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects to drive technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle.
Working within the Electrical & SCADA department of Engineering, the area of SCADA/OT Cyber Security are responsible for ensuring that our fleet of Wind Farms and backend systems are operated in a secure way, and in accordance with industry standards, directives and legislations in the countries we operate in.
Key Responsibilities;
Description of the position as OT Cyber Security Specialist
  • Follow external requirements to make sure we are on the forefront with the SCADA and Control systems we are implementing and operation
  • Close cooperation with BA Wind BOTSO (Business Operational Technology Security Officer) to ensure compliance with Vattenfall internal requirements
  • Supporting role for mature and maintain BA Wind Critical Infrastructure policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Work with the relevant technical experts within the Engineering functional unit to ensure solutions are suitably captured within relevant standards and specifications
  • Drive safety by design through the entire project lifecycle
  • Take responsibility for incident response and analysis
  • Play an active role in embedding Cyber Security within Vattenfall BA Wind activities
  • Vulnerability assessment and mitigation activities
  • Key person for SOC and vulnerability notifications and reporting in close cooperation with SCADA infrastructure team
  • Support on development of new tools within the Cyber Security Strategy and programme
Qualifications and characteristics:
  • Strong Security culture, with a strong commitment to contribute to the development and delivery of inherently safer wind farm projects
  • High degree of self-motivation with a flexible approach to work
  • Structured and naturally see documentation as part of the daily tasks and have experience of write procedures and incident reports.
  • Degree level educated in electrical/electronic/IT or other engineering discipline
  • Min 5 years of experience within the cyber security area such as SOC Monitoring, Malware Analysis, Incident response, Log management, user management, IDS (Network detection) etc. preferable in the OT environment
  • Familiar with ISO 27000 and IEC 62443.
  • Awareness of NIST & NERC CIP an advantage
  • Good English language skills. Danish/German language skills an advantage
  • Flexible approach to travel and working in our core countries
