Description

CSR Student Assistant
The CSR team in DFDS is looking for a student assistant to take part in the department’s daily work assignments. The team is responsible for the development and implementation of the DFDS CSR strategy, environmental and general ESG reporting, CSR communication and annual report and many other tasks related to sustainability.
Help us fulfil our ambitious climate strategy
Since the development of DFDS’ CSR strategy our focus and ambitions towards the climate and overall sustainability has only increased. This is seen though increasing interest from and interactions with customers, investors, business partners and colleagues. Our CSR strategy is a key enabler of DFDS’ group strategy and this year we launched a dedicated climate action plan – so the topic is high in the top management agenda. You will be in ongoing contact with our different locations across Europe with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will become experienced in navigating through a complex organization within Shipping, Logistics, Finance and Technology & Innovation, while also gaining experience in change, stakeholder, and project management as well as process implementation. In addition to this, you will of course become part of a vast student assistant community within our company.
Main responsibilities
The job is set to 15-20 hours per week with mutual flexibility. In this job you will play an important role in terms of collecting and structuring our sustainability data and you will be the lead in providing stakeholders – both internal and external – with relevant and updated ESG data. You will be responsible for your own tasks and projects and will be given the opportunity to influence and participate in the department's future development.
Additional tasks
In addition to the above, you will specifically:
Support with CSR/sustainability related issues in tender processes
Ensure all that all ESG disclosure are updated on a regular basis
Manage and support CSR/sustainability projects across the organisation to ensure traction and progress
Preferred profile
You are probably enrolled in economic/financial or technical studies. You work independently, systematically, take ownership, and keep deadlines. A data-driven approach is natural for you and you have flair for communication and stakeholder management. Technical understanding can be an advantage as our vessels are a key element in our daily work. But it is not a demand.
You are ambitious with a big personal drive to deliver great results. You are passionate about CSR and interested in understanding the complexities relating to maritime and transport sustainability. You can collaborate with colleagues across all levels, functions and locations.
APPLY NOW!
If you find the job interesting and you fulfill the expectations, please submit your CV and application in English. We will evaluate applications on an ongoing basis. All applications will be treated confidentially.
Please contact Sofie Hebeltoft at soheb@dfds.com for questions about the position. The position will be filled as soon as possible.
