How to contribute to our vision

You are responsible for the offer sales calculation for international investment projects with the contract volume of 300 Million – 1500 Million EUR.

You are a core sales team member; a multidisciplinary and intercultural expert function with interfaces across international borders; your main stakeholders are: Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Service, Operations, Hub Management, Sales Project Management, Sales Solutions, PPM.

You ensure cost comparison and explanation on cost deltas for different project scopes and during project phases (e.g. SBA calculation vs As Sold calculation vs OIC)

You are responsible for a timely calculation completeness and adherence to cost approval process with input functions; you ensure and support commercial commitment (sign-off) by executing function of costs

You ensure the basis for cash flow planning and the hedging strategy which includes the calculation of the project specific Cash Flow profile, the request of currency rates/hedging cost and the evaluation of project specific currency baskets

You are responsible for transparency on, comparability of, and adherence to pre-agreed cost improvement measure as basis for approvals (“Profit / GM bridge”)

You ensure the overview on offer costing with the aim of achieving increased cost transparency via the identification of main cost drivers and KPIs and by that contributing to competitive cost solutions

You drive, together with the assigned sales team, the successful Target Costing execution through benchmarks, cross project comparisons, cost input analysis based on KPIs.

You are leading the yearly cost update validation across departments and participate in knowledge sharing, feedback loop and development of the calculation tools (e.g. PROseq, SOC, Cash Flow Model etc.)

What you need to make a difference

You hold a university degree in Business administration or commercial apprenticeship with minimum 5 years of professional work experience. You have preferably gained your professional experience in commercial project management (PM@Siemens knowledge), financial controlling or commercial sales.You have commercial knowledge related to KPI’s, SGRE processes, reporting and value flows and experience in Project Cost and Warranty calculation is preferred.

You have experience in project team management and working with different international stakeholders within an intercultural working environment.

You have a mindset for teamwork and intercultural experience and strong communication skills. You have a strong degree of entrepreneurial spirit and passion to the field of responsibility. You must have flexibility to travel.

You are fluent in English; German and/or any other languages are of course welcome. You must be self-determined, take own-initiative, business competence, communication skills, create network built on trust, analytical skills, result and quality orientation, customer focus (external/internal), professional ethics
