As our new Business Developer you will be supporting the various teams in the Offshore Construction Department counting approx. 550 employees globally. You will be supporting the various management teams in the development, alignment and communication of strategic department topics. You will report to and proactively support the Head of Offshore Construction in everyday operations which includes preparation of strategic presentations, roll out of newsletters and monthly performance reviews. Furthermore, you will play an active role in identifying new strategic opportunities within the Renewable Energy sector.

How to contribute to our vision

You will ensure the department head is fully informed of relevant information and is efficiently prepared in good time prior to meetings, both with information and where relevant presentation materials.

You will help and support the management team in change management by developing the right communication approach for the big technical and operational change projects of the coming years.

As a Business Developer you will support the digitalization campaign in all areas of the department and play an active role in upgrading the CNS reporting and communication tool box.

You will take the lead in preparing strategy sessions and team workshops, support the management team in the development of strategy communication campaigns, including support for supply and deployment of roll out strategies. You will proactively get involved in new concepts and strategic relevant topics in order to be able to support the management to bring ideas to paper and to market the ideas in an optimal way. You will also prepare communication & presentation material for the department head and management teams in connection with department strategies, decision papers for senior management, roll out campaigns, safety campaigns etc..

What you need to make a difference

You are an entrepreneurial spirit with a lot of initiative and determination to make strategic and business ethical decisions with both result, quality and the customer in mind. You are a team player and a natural networker with the ability to work with many and different stakeholders within a complex business.

You are a proactive and energetic person who is not afraid to explore new ways of doing things. You like to investigate and dig into data and projects and can discover inaccuracies. It is important that you are structured and detail oriented and do not always take things at its face value.

To be successful in this role you preferable:

Hold a degree within a relevant area, e.g. communications, strategy, marketing, journalism, MBA or similar education / work experienceHave advanced Project Management skillsHave expert IT skills (in particular communciation and presentation tools, social media, video software)Possess excellent communication and language skills (English) – both orally and in writingHave very good coaching / mentoring skills as well as moderation / problem solving skills
