DeepOcean are recruiting for an HSEQ Engineer, based in Haugesund. In this position you will
work with both the Project Team and HSEQ Team to ensure that our operations are
executed in line with internal management system requirements and associated
legislation and regulations.
Whilst this position is onshore based, there
will be requirement to support operational activities both offshore and during
mobilizations.

Duties and responsibilities
Assist Project Manager with production of project HSEQ documentation, client interface and operational support Advise and support the various organizational functions in terms of HSEQ matters Conduct in depth investigations and reports following accidents, incidents and near misses Perform risk assessments in project and on site Participate during mobilizations and travel offshore as HSEQ Engineer Support the commercial tendering / bid process, ensuring all HSEQS information is accurately reviewed and submitted in accordance with client expectations Participation and conducting internal and supplier audits and inspections
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nautical science/HSEQ/risk management/social safety or similar. Note that relevant experience can compensate for lack of education Preferably working experience from subsea-/offshore-/maritime industry Good working experience with operational risk assessment Good working knowledge of Norwegian/EU regulations and industry standards Fluent in English, both verbal and written
