Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Supervisor - Annulus Intervention to join the Annulus Intervention team based in Stavanger.
The successful candidate will join an international “flying squad” supporting operations both domestically and globally as and when required. The main hub for the Annulus Intervention Product line is in Stavanger, Norway. Candidates should be from Norwegian locations within driving distance from Stavanger.
There will be a requirement to work within a team to complete the running of Wellspring and/or Wellhead Multitool equipment on and offshore both internationally and domestically. They will ensure a successful and safe operation in accordance with company procedures and thereby ensuring a quality service to client.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates from a Well intervention or Wellhead background to work with new ground-breaking technologies.
Key Activities and Accountabilities:
• Carry out Annulus Intervention operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating manual.
• Undertake checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expro’s policies, standards and procedures and ensure they are technically correct for the operation being carried out.
• Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required.
• May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation, maintenance and return of equipment.
• Liaise with supervisor daily to ensure well site support requirements are planned and executed as required in respect to material spares in inventories and maintenance.
• Liaise with clients representatives and participate in meetings and discussions as required in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client.
• Liaise with offshore Supervisor, team members, and operations department as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed as required with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to achieve safe operations and task completion.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements.
• Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role.
• Actively work with subordinates to share knowledge to assist with their competency progression when required.
• Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
• Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.
• Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
• Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade
• Formal technical qualification
• Must have previous technical experience preferable within Wellhead maintenance, wireline, Coiled Tubing or other well intervention operations experience with the following is an advantage:
Wellhead equipment
Wireline equipment / Coil tubing equipment
Fluid, acid and chemical pumping
Plug & Abandonment (resins)
• Practical work experience within an offshore environment
• Ability to speak German is an advantage
