WTG Package Manager – Wind – Europe
Are you looking for your next career in the wind industry? Quanta are currently looking for a WTG Package Manager with wind experience to support our industry leading client on an exciting onshore wind project from one of their many European offices with a hybrid working potential.
Our client is a leading developer in the offshore wind industry owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets. With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe & emerging international markets.
Now they are currently seeking an experienced WTG Package Manager to join them for an exciting project within their portfolio.
Key skills / Experience
5 years’ experience project management positions for large infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally specific experience on WTG packages for offshore wind.
Vast experience in tendering and leading contract negotiations for large scale projects.
Great technical knowledge of large electrical or mechanical systems.
Strong team player who can demonstrate team leadership and management skills, whilst also showing interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of people.
Experience with the full life cycle of projects.
Fluent in English.
Must haves
Master’s Degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar.
5 years’ experience project management positions for large infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally specific experience on WTG packages for offshore wind.
Key responsibilities
Lead the WTG package team for the full life cycle, from planning and contract negotiation through to engineering.
Lead the tender process of the WTG scope the negotiation of the EPCI contract with suppliers.
Coordinating the engineering process and the WTG design alongside further technical functions.
Implementation of a comprehensive approach to HSE and quality management in regard to our clients established management systems for the WTG Packages.
