Copenhagen Offshore Partners’ (COP's) offshore wind development activities are growing rapidly with projects in Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia.

We are looking for highly qualified WTG Packager Managers (PM) with knowledge from the Renewable/Infrastructure industry to join our team in Seoul or Taipei and become part of our global team of industry professionals at Copenhagen Offshore Partners.

COP is a world leader in development and construction of offshore wind projects and works exclusively for one of the leading green infrastructure fund managers in the world, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).

The WTG PMs will play a key part in delivering our large-scale offshore wind development projects

We are currently looking to fill 2 WTG PM positions, who will either be based in our office in Seoul, South Korea or Taipei, Taiwan. The WTG PMs will not only be part of the local project team but also join a global network of experts within COP. The roles report to the EPC director of the local projects.

As WTG PM you will be responsible for delivering installed and commissioned Wind Turbines to be handed over to operations. In addition, in this role, you will also develop and manage a specialized package team within the development/EPC organization. It is essential that you thrive in dynamic environments and that you carry deep experience as well as a holistic understanding of large-scale renewable/infrastructure projects such as offshore wind projects. Furthermore, your personality and diverse skill set enable you to be an inspiring leader who can create engagement, maintain relations and communicate efficiently across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

A key part of the role is to deliver as a team and collaborate with the wider package team, package manager peers, EPC project- support and controls functions as well as steer external designers, contractors and other stakeholders. The WTG PM is expected to deliver agreed scope on time, within the approved budget, and with high focus on safety and quality.

Areas of responsibility in the role

Establish scope, plans and schedules for delivery of the work
Plan resources, mobilize and manage the project team
Manage TSA
Manage interfaces to other packages, and secure optimal scope/risk/cost balance
Manage internal- and external stakeholders, incl. grid interface, external designers and contractors
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and certification requirements
Coordinate and provide support to other functions and packages, e.g.
Permitting
Due diligence, and LTA Q/A
O&M preparation
Ensure documentation prepared for the relevant project stages, together with documentation in relation to decisions, assessments etc.

Your profile

The ideal candidate has relevant package management experience with large-scale offshore multi-disciplinary projects.

In addition, we expect that you have the following qualifications and experiences:

5 years+ of WTG package management experience including contracting and execution of TSA
Knowledge of PMI and preferably PMP certified
Proven experience with negotiation on international level and working in the offshore wind industry is essential
Strong technical understanding of the offshore wind industry
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Global mindset being responsive to local and remote sparring, inputs, and requests
Perseverance and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines
Team oriented mind-set and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Proactive and co-operative way of working and high attention to detail
Business awareness and understanding of the key drivers and levers that influence business performance
Focus on safety and quality
