Due to increased activity we are looking for candidates to join structural department. The candidates will have responsibility for design and analysis in projects and will be working closely with other experts in the field as well as our customers. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best people in the industry, and to build experience and skills in challenging projects.
We are involved in design and analysis of foundation structures for several projects in the offshore wind industry and in oil & gas. In addition, we provide services within reassessment of structures, marine engineering and advanced engineering such as nonlinear analyses, CFD and collisions.
Responsibilities/tasks of the position:
Analysis and design of offshore steel structures
Perform structural calculations with Sesam/Ansys
Travel offshore for vibration measurement
Perform piping vibration analysis
Prepare analysis reports
Qualifications/requirements:
Msc in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Offshore structures
0-5 years’ experience in structural analysis
Very Good knowledge of structural fatigue analysis
Good understanding of structural vibrations
Good knowledge of hand calculations and principles for structural dimensions
Knowledge of automation and programming in e.g. Python is an advantagePersonal qualities:
Excellent collaboration skills contributing to a dynamic teamwork
Ability to work in a structured and precise manner
Good knowledge of the English language
Good analytical reasoning, theoretical approach, and communication skills
