Building on our extensive oil & gas expertise, we are developing a strong position as a provider of offshore renewable energy solutions.Shape your journey onboard and offshore with usThe Fishery & Research (FAR) division focuses on deck handling and deck machinery for the fishery segment related to trawlers, purse seiners, service boats for fish farmers and live fish carriers in addition to the Oceanographic, Polar and Fishery research vessels.
Currently we are looking for a motivated Warranty Specialist for our FAR division, located in Bodø/Averøy. As a Warranty Specialist you will have the overall responsibility to handle and process warranty claims from customers at FAR level.

Main tasks and responsibilities:Responsible for follow up warranty claims from customer’s incl. direct contact and good interaction with customers during processing
Responsible for follow-up and handle warranty claims internally in FAR organization
Follow procedures for quality management and internal control
Comply with MacGregor HSE policy to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to people, environments and assets
Together with Supply Chain and QA follow-up nonconformities towards sub suppliers for correction incl. reversals of cost
Responsible to report status and budget for warranty project on a monthly basis
Prepare job package that incl. detailed plan in terms of scope, budget, risk and required parts related to claim work
Perform mobilization meetings of allocated personnel before travelling
Registration of warranty claims, deviations and improvement proposals in quality system
Registration of as built doc. according to current procedure after completed mission
Perform demobilization meeting to ensure that required documentation and SW back up is stored on correct location after completed mission
What you’ll need to succeed:Technical education and/or experience from technical/marine environment, but relevant work experience may compensate
Maritime and Offshore business knowledge is also an advantage
Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written
Good computer skills
A structured and customer oriented person with good cooperation and technical skills
