Tasks & responsibilities: You will…

…most importantly be responsible for managing the Warehouse team which is spread across three different warehouses in Esbjerg, Denmark, namely the Tools Warehouse, the Spare Parts Warehouse and the Pre-assembly Warehouse. You will be responsible for managing Safety, quality and also control the warehouse inventory, including ongoing stock counts. In addition, the position also includes the planning of material movement to deliver tools to the organisation in the required quantity, and ensuring that materials are ready as required to meet the production schedule. You will also be responsible for controlling KPI’s to ensure business targets are being met effectively.

Another crucial part of your position will be in relation to optimisation, especially of spare part storage, raw stock and internal logistics.
You will also be responsible for:

Managing material stacking to ensure optimum access and usability

Ensuring paperwork is maintained and correct master data in the ERP system

Reporting on material usage and suggest changes as needed

Maintaining high safety standards and collaborate with the HSE department to report incidents and manage risks

Awareness of Non-Conforming materials and implement corrective actions

Applying 5S principles and methodology

Ensuring professional communication from warehouse to any stakeholders

Assisting with ongoing projects such as Kanban set-up, uncontrolled floor stock and backflusing

Skills & experience: Our new colleague…

…has at least 3 years of experience as a manager of a warehouse, and must be experienced in build-up and quality control of warehouse according to Lean principles. You must have excellent leadership and people management skills, as the most important part of your position will be to manage and guide your team. Consequently, you must be able to create and foster a strong and motivated team, also in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
We expect that you:

Speak and write English and Danish fluently

Have 5S qualifications or other Lean methodology

Possess forklift and other lifting equipment certification

Are able to use Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Have documented experience with setting up a warehouse according to Lean methodology

Solid user-experience with ERP system(s). Experience with Dynamics AX is preferred

Understand safety and quality processes and reporting
