Vice President Service & Installation SwedenOpportunity to manage and drive profitability and growth within our Service business line
Are you a senior leader with solid P&L experience within energy or electrical sector? Do you thrive in a fast-growing international environment? We are looking for a strategic Vice President ready to take our Service business in Sweden to the next level! When joining NKT you will be a key player connecting a greener, sustainable world and ensuring the stability on the European electrical grid.
Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, (HVC), for land and offshore applications worldwide. NKT provides flexible and reliable cable solutions for a sustainable, renewable, and powerful world. We offer a broad spectrum of both onshore and offshore cable service products that is unique on the market. We also provide a variety of service packages customised to suit the specific requirements of our customers cable systems throughout its service life and allowing our customers to concentrate on their core business.
Secure continued success through a strong organisation developing existing markets and exploring new territories
Service is supporting our customers to maximize the value of their assets. Our commercial projects span from a few mnSEK to several 100 mnSEK of revenue.In the role as VP you will manage and represent NKT Service in Sweden to serve our market and at the same time continue the great journey we are on, delivering sustainable profitability and growth through driving the strategic business development agenda. You will have full P&L responsibility for the business line in Sweden, leading the growth initiatives of new Service customers and market segments. Besides the above you will take part in further developing our global product portfolio strategy as a member of the global leadership team for Service.
Besides the above the primary tasks for the VP will be:
Ensure profitability by aligning commercial, sales and delivery processes and organizations
Grow business by focus on existing customers and adding new customer and market segments
Manage customer communication and participate in customer meetings
Overarching cost, investment and revenue management for local business
Ensure project cost and invoice management in collaboration with our finance and operational colleagues
Manage local site communications towards organization
Project manage department initiatives
Conduct continuous improvements, design processes and develop efficiency measures
The Vice President will lead a national team placed in Karlskrona, Blekinge with approximately 120 employees, whereof 4 direct reporting managers, with full responsibility to build, lead and develop the organisation. The role, reporting to Executive Vice President Service, will as well contribute to the overall NKT business development as a member of the global NKT ELT. The role requires being prepared to travel on short notice. On average 20 days of travelling per year is to be expected.Strong leader with a balanced combination of strategic mindset, commercial acumen and hands-on mentality

You thrive by embracing new and challenging tasks and adjust to fast-paced and changing working environments and/or market circumstances.
The VP role would let you excel with your natural team management skills and flexible leadership style enjoying creating motivation and engagement throughout the entire organisation.
In addition to the above you have a structured project manager mentality and strong business acumen with a strategic approach to the department agenda adopting hands-on attitude when needed.
You have a solid track record in excellent stakeholder management and customer interaction where you utilize your strong communication, collaboration and business understanding skills.
In addition to the above the ideal candidate’s background should include:
University degree preferably within engineering, business or management and/or solid commercial experience within the industry
Extensive experience from energy or electrical sector, with P&L accountability
Solid team management experience including leading leaders, ideally in blue- and white-collar environments
Project management and business case modelling experience
Sound understanding of financial statements and processes
Fluency in Swedish and English
