Wärtsilä Voyage is seeking an experienced and hands-on User Experience Designer to join the Voyage Efficiency Optimisation (EO) team at our Helsinki office in Wärtsilä Campus.
In this position, you will contribute to shaping Fleet Operations Solution (FOS) - the leading maritime analytics platform in the world that helps our customers to optimize their operations to save money and fuel.
Digitalisation is rapidly changing the maritime industry and you can be part of that change by developing smart and environmentally friendly solutions.
You should have:
Strong UX and visual design skills - you can design efficient workflows that are also pleasing to the eye.
Experience in user centred design principles and user research - you are also able to act as an advocate for these.
Strong desire to understand the actual use cases and customer problems we build solutions for.
A systematic approach to problem solving – you can grasp the complexities of our products and the complex interdependencies of the environment where the products are used.
Strong understanding and experience in agile software development practices and ability to advance agile ways of working in our organization.
Excellent written and spoken English
Experience level expected for this position is 5+ years, but we can also be flexible about this in case you are amazing!
