Imagine a future where you’re responsible for providing MV-HV technical support and performance-improving initiatives for global green energy
Join us in this role where you’ll be working with activities ranging from technical support to lifecycle transition projects with the goal of maintaining and improving our global O&M transmission asset setup. You’ll report to the Head of Fleet Support and collaborate closely with the Transmission Asset lead when working with campaigns and projects.
Welcome to Fleet Support
You’ll be part of a strong cross-organisational Transmission Asset team responsible for the high voltage AC and DC substations and HV infrastructure. Together with your colleagues, you’ll be responsible for the global transmission asset technical support escalation and knowledge sharing. Additionally, you’ll support our data and tool development teams within Global Surveillance & Support in providing the optimal toolbox for the O&M organisation. The Transmission Asset team works closely with a broad set of stakeholders across Offshore Operations, including the control points, offshore sites, HV engineers, SCADA, and compliance to solve technical issues and execute projects.
You’ll play an important role in:
providing safe working conditions for yourself and your colleagues by being part of our strong QHSE culture – as we constantly strive to make our workplace a safer place to work
handling communication and technical support following our technical support escalation model, including support to critical incidents investigations and coordination with resolution parties
driving and supporting site transition projects in cooperation with our Operation Preparation team – together with the team, you’ll secure a seamless site transition out of SWA and into operation
driving and developing our knowledge sharing tools and processes, performing training of the regional technical site supervisors, and supporting the facilitation and preparation of technical meetings
supporting formulating requirements in development projects for generation management systems for transmission asset scope.
To succeed in the role, you:
hold a relevant degree in electrical engineering or are an MV-HV technician or have similar skills gained from extensive experience working with onshore/offshore substations
have some experience with the operation of high and medium voltage networks and substations as well as an understanding of other subsystems such as communications, supervisory control/SCADA, and HVAC
have experience with transmission asset control systems and maintenance management, including project management within the offshore WTG industry
are a good team player, thrive in an international environment and can create lasting relationships with your global stakeholders
have strong communication skills and speak and write English fluently.
